Harrow Green Community Library is a year old and to celebrate we are delighted to invite you to a free community event on Friday 9 May between 5.30pm-8pm at the Epicentre, 41 West Street, Leytonstone E11 4LJ.
There will be free light refreshments and a tour of the library from 5.30pm. The entertainment begins at 6pm with a performance from Theo Oloyade, AKA Mr Godson on Sky TV’s ‘Got to Dance’. Theo is a professional dancer who lives locally and he will also be choreographing a special performance for us by pupils at Norlington School for Boys.
At 7pm, award winning poet and comedian, John Hegley, will take to the stage to tickle your ribs and get you laughing. Everyone is invited and admission is on a first come first served basis so please arrive before 6pm.
We hope you will join us for an enjoyable evening and we very much look forward to seeing you.
This event is funded by the Waltham Forest street party fund and we are grateful for their support. Harrow Green Library is run by volunteers and it is open to the public on Saturdays (11am – 2pm), Mondays (10am – 3pm) and Thursdays (3pm – 7.30pm). If you would like to get involved in our planning group or would like to volunteer at one of our sessions, please email the Library at harrowgreenlibrary@gmx.co.uk and please put ‘Volunteer’ in the subject line.
